Pick 2

#2 One of our Christmas traditions is on my moms side for Christmas, we go to my grandma's house in Brandon MN, and they have a barn that they turned into a party barn. They put a basketball court in the top of it for all the grand kids that play basketball. The kids go up to the barn and practice basketball while the parents get the food ready. Then we eat in the top of the barn where there is a kitchen and bathroom on the other side of the basketball court. After we finish eating we have a little parent vs kids tournament. The kids normally lose. Another Christmas tradition is rotating between my dad and his brothers house, for who hosts Christmas. The last Christmas tradition is at my grandma's house we write our name on the wall of the barn along with the year.

My family gets a fake tree.
The only gift i want this year is a ticket to Alaska and maroon crocs.

My best holiday memory is breaking the backboard of my grandma's basketball hoop.
My worst holiday memory is falling through my grandma's trampoline when there was snow on it.

#3 I am going to write about Chad Kraemer. He passed away July 2nd 2017. A symbol that represents him is his firefighter helmet.
Every summer i stayed at their house constantly. I was best friends with his daughter. He always took us to Zorba's to eat. At fire fest he would bring us back to the meet and greet even if we didn't have the passes. The 5 best things about Chad were he was easy to talk to, i could trust him, i could joke around with him, he would do anything and everything to make peopled happy, and he was a very big part of my life.

10 Places you do not want to tour

#10 Mount Everest
Over 200 people have died trying to summit this mountain. The ones who did not make it back, froze to death and their bodies are left their as trail marks. Climbing a mountain this size is nearly impossible and is super hard. It also costs a ton of money to climb mount Everest.

#9 Great Barrier Reef
It’s called “mass bleaching” and it’s what happens when heat stress kills all the coral in one of the seven wonders of the natural world. Coral bleaching is caused by global warming not by superyachts
The vast majority of bleaching is in the northern third of the reef.

#8 Bolivia

Transport can be tricky. Dealing with money in Bolivia is very stressful. Eating in Bolivia is always an experience because they have tons of new food.

#7 Machu Picchu

It is super expensive to travel and hotels and food are expensive to pay for. There is llama's and guinea pigs roaming around all the time. It is also very steep land and would be scary if you are scared of heights or if you are scared to fall.

#6 Galápagos Islands

To travel to the
Galápagos Islands you have to go through immigration which is time consuming. Galápagos government is very strict. It is hard to transport because there is not many cars or vehicles to transport.

#5 Russia

Do not drink the tap water, it is not like the tap water we have in the US. You have to Exchange your money in advance otherwise it will be hard to when you get to Russia. Make sure you research public transportation before you get into Russia.

#4 Koh Khai Islands

The Koh Khai Islands are very overcrowded with tourists. There is not very much to see in the Koh Khai Islands. The water is dangerous with all of the sharp rocks.

#3 GREAT WALL AND BEIJING

One reason to not travel to the Great Wall is the air pollution is terrible. The skies are not very clear ever. The wall gets very crowded on the weekends and holidays.

#2 TAJ MAHAL

Taj Mahal is very dirty and has not had a thorough cleaning since it was built 369 years ago. They use mud paste to clean other monuments. The air is super polluted and they burn acid rain.

#1 MYANMAR

A genocide is occurring in Myanmar. You money is getting pocketed by the government, so its not worth going.  Myanmar lives a very simple life.

Day #4 of my trip

We are getting closer to seeing my brother!! We woke up Tuesday morning in Nashville. We left all of our bags in the hotel room while we went to tour. We walked to the country music hall of fame and museum. There they had walls covered in the hall of fame CD disks. It was so cool and interesting to see. After we finished looking around, we walked to the Hard Rock Cafe to eat lunch. It was delicious food! After we finished eating we went back to our hotel room for awhile. While my parents took a nap, my sisters and I went swimming. Once they woke up from their nap we went and visited the Johnny Cash Museum that was just down the road from our hotel. We toured the museum and bought some clothes. On our way back we stopped at all the little gift shops and stores to get some souvenirs to take home. we spent all afternoon shopping! It was getting dark out so we went back to our rooms and just hung out. Late at night we decided to go driving around to see what
Nashville is like at night, it is super cool and full of lights and drunk people dancing on the streets (i definitely recommend it). Then while my mom and older sister went to walk around downtown Nashville, my dad took my younger sister and I to go walk on the Korean War Veterans Memorial Bridge. It was very pretty view whichever way you looked. Then we went back to our hotel and spent another night in Nashville.

Day #3 of my trip

We woke up Monday morning in Indianapolis Indiana. Since we got there late Sunday night, we decided to spend sometime and tour on Monday. We woke up at 7:30 am on Monday, so we had a little extra time to sleep in. We packed everything up and left by 8:00 am and were driving around to go touring. We did not find many interesting places to go tour. the only place we toured was the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. The Indianapolis Motor Speedway is an automobile racing circuit located in Speedway, Indiana. It is the home of the Indianapolis 500 and the Brickyard 400, and formerly the home of the United States Grand Prix. It was so fun to go touring and walk on the tracks. We spent a couple hours there. After we were finished touring we got back in the van and started driving to our next destination. Our next destination was Louisville Kentucky. In Louisville we just stopped at the Louisville Slugger Museum. We went through the tour and each got to make our own mini bats. After we were done we left and drove to Nashville Tennessee. We got to Nashville vary late and stay the night.

Day 2 of my trip

Our next stop was Chicago! It took us three and a half hour to drive to Chicago. We got to Chicago around 10:00 am. Our first stop was Millennium Park. At Millennium park we stopped to visit the bean. After we visited the bean we went to the sky deck that was close by. We stood in line at the sky deck for three hours just waiting. Then we finally got to the top of the sky deck line and got out on the sky deck. We took all of our pictures and left, we stood in line for three hours to be in the sky deck for about five minuets. We would of had to stand in line longer if my sister didn't have a broken leg. Since she had a broken leg, security brought us up closer to the front since she was crippled. We left the sky deck and went to the Chicago Mall. We went back to our hotel room around 5:00 pm. We went swimming, out to eat, and unpacked that night. We left the hotel about 6:00 am Sunday morning. Our next stop was Gary, Indiana. We made a special trip to Gary, Indiana because my dads name is Gary. We only stayed in Gary Indiana for about twenty minutes because Gary, Indiana is a very old, gross, creepy town. Gary, Indiana has 6,300 abandoned homes, and 550 abandoned businesses. After we finished driving that night we ended up in Indianapolis, Indiana. We did not tour anything in Indianapolis that night because it was to late to do anything.

suitcase review

1. What is the item you are reviewing?
A suitcase that has four wheels on it.
2. What company manufactures the item?

Ebags manufactures Amka Sierra suitcases.

3. What are its special features? Describe in detail. What can it do? Why would people want to buy it or have it?
It is on four wheels, easy to roll, and small enough to fit in tight spaces. People would want to buy it because it is easy and accessible for traveling.

4. How expensive is it? Is it worth the cost in your opinion? Why? Explain.
These suitcases cost between $150 and $500 depending on where you get it and what the brand name is. I think it is worth the money if you travel a lot, if you do not travel that much then it might not be worth the money.

5. What makes it special compared to other items that may be similar?
The suitcase will not tip over every two seconds like the two wheel suitcases do. They are easier to handle and so much more efficient.

6. Overall, how would you rate the item on a scale of 1-10 with 10 being best?
I would rate this item a 8 out of 10.

Day 1 of my trip

"20 years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do then by the things you did do" -Mark Twain. In July of 2017, my brother left for basic training for the national guard reserves to be a big wheel mechanic. If he passed basic training he would graduate with the rest of his group in October of 2017. In October of 2017, my family and I took a week off from work and school to go down to South Carolina for my brothers graduation since it is a once in a lifetime thing. We ended up leaving on a Friday after work and came home 10 days later on Sunday around 11:00 pm. Before we left we had to make sure we had all of our homework from our teachers and had everything packed the Thursday before we left. Friday after school I went to volleyball practice until my parents were done working. After work the picked my up and we left straight from there. We took my dads bosses van, they borrowed it to us while they were in Massachusetts. My dad drove most of the way, my mom was in the passengers seat, my two sisters were in the middle seats, and I was in the way back with the cooler and all the bags. Friday night we drove to Wisconsin dells and spent the night there. We got to the hotel around midnight, when we got to the hotel we laid out our clothes for the following day, then put on our swimsuits and went swimming until 2:00 am. We got back to our room and by the time we were all showered and in bed it was 3:00 am. We woke up at 6:00 am and were on the road by 6:30 am. We stopped for breakfast at McDonald's. While we were in the drive through, my mom was on Facebook and saw that it was a birthday of a loved one that pasted away a in July or 2017. The rest of the day was long and full of tears. Our next stop was Chicago.
